Dr. Beal completed
his bachelor’s degree in English Literature with honors in 1986 at
the University of Oklahoma. Deeply inspired by poet and physician,
William Carlos Williams, Dr. Beal chose to pursue his medical degree
in order to have “box seat tickets in the theater of life.” What a
better way to view life at its finest than to assist in the delivery
of beautiful babies!
Dr. Beal completed his medical degree in
1993 from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine,
a general rotating internship at Columbia Tulsa Regional Medical
Center in 1994, and his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in
1998 at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Dr. Beal passed the American
Osteopathic Board Of Obstetrics And Gynecology in 1999 and became
board certified in 2003.
In 1998, Dr. Beal accepted a
position as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at OSU
College of Osteopathic Medicine. From July 2003 to May 2008, he
served as a tenured Associate Professor at OSU College of
Osteopathic Medicine. During that period of time, he was also the
Residency Program Director of TRMC.

as an educator, Dr. Beal earned numerous awards, including:

As a community service,
in 1994 Dr. Beal performed laparoscopic uterine horn ligation of a
Siberian Tiger at the Tulsa Zoo. In 1994, he also gave his time and
expertise on a medical aid trip to Zaire, Africa to care for Rwanda
genocide refugees.
As hobbies, Dr. Beal is an amateur painter
and a member of the Becker Brothers Racing Team in the Score
International Baja 1000-mile off-road race. He has completed this
race multiple times.
Personally, Dr. Beal is a committed
family man, married to Dee Ann, and has two children: Kathryn and
Noah. He and his family enjoy playing tennis, participating in
soccer matches and just hanging out together. Dr. Beal has also been
a soccer coach/assistant coach with the Tulsa Parks and Recreation
League.
