Tulsa OB-GYN
Associates, Inc is pleased to announce the addition of its newest
physician, Jay Williamson, DO. Dr. Williamson brings to the
practice, knowledge and wisdom to understand the needs of women
throughout their reproductive years and beyond.
Dr.
Williamson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1986 with a
bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. He earned his medical degree in 1990
from Oklahoma State University- College of Osteopathic Medicine. In
1991 Dr. Williamson completed his rotating internship, followed by
the completion of a four year OB-GYN residency in 1995- all at Tulsa
Regional Medical Center. |

When asked why he chose the
specialty of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Williamson says: “What
led me to obstetrics and gynecology was the happy and positive
nature of the specialty as well as the variety of medical care and
surgical procedures. Working in the labor and delivery unit was my
first experience outside the classroom and I felt this specialty was
my calling.”
Professionally, Dr. Williamson has over 14 years
in private practice in the Tulsa area. He is a current member of
American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists,
American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tulsa County Medical
Society, Tulsa OB-GYN Society, Oklahoma State Medical Association,
and the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.
On a personal
level, Dr. Williamson has been married to his wonderful wife Kim,
for 25 years. They are the parents of 2 amazing children. Dr.
Williamson is very active in his church and community. He prides
himself of being an avid family man, triathlete, and golfer.
